Valen-Dine on the River Walk Culinary Adventure Tour” at the San Antonio River Walk

Saturday, February 11th

V-Day Spice Level: Mild

What do we love more than a dinner date? Three food experiences in one night. The “Valen-Dine” Culinary Tour is making three stops on this special night on the historical San Antonio River Walk. This is a walking tour, so wear something sweet, but comfortable for exploring. The first stop is Elsewhere Garden Bar, where you can pick from a multitude of drink options including wine, beer, and even cocktails. You’ll enjoy the beautiful, botanical surroundings of a garden while hearing the quiet swish of the San Antonio River sweeping past you down below. After sipping on an adult beverage, you’ll head down to Supper at Emma Hotel where Chef John Brand will impress you with seasonal dinner delights. Just when you feel like you’re about to pop, the culinary tour will take you down to Lick Honest Ice Creams where you can pick from several unique (and sustainably-sourced!) flavors of ice cream made with the purest of ingredients available. (Please note that the tour fee includes treats from Stop 1 at Elsewhere Garden Bar and Stop 3 at Lick Honest Ice Creams; however, Stop 2 at Supper at Emma Hotel is not included in the fee, meaning you are responsible for complete payment of that dinner. The bright side is: you are not limited to a set menu!)

Meet Your Next Ex” at the San Antonio Zoo

Saturday, February 11th

V-Day Spice Level: Medium

If navigating your dating life has felt more like a trip to the zoo versus a trip to a luxurious singles resort, then the San Antonio Zoo will be ready to host you at their V-Day event called “Meet Your Next Ex” (we love the honesty here) on Saturday, February 11th. The SA Zoo is inviting single Alamo City party “animals” aged 21+ to explore the “jungle” of romance at their upcoming singles night. Even if you don’t meet your next ex, you can enjoy a night of specialty drinks, perfectly crafted for the night of fun and romance. Prepare for some wild speed dating, along with some hot dancing at “Club Wild Thingz.” Beg your besties to go along with you and don’t forget to mention that there are some animal interactions scheduled. (That reminds us – is Timothy the Hippo of dating age yet?) If getting sweet revenge quietly is more your Love Day style, you can always spend Valentine’s Day with the SA Zoo by naming a cockroach after your ex in the “Cry Me a Cockroach” fundraiser.
